E-gov in Rwanda

One thing many africans know, is "You can come tomorrow
to see where your procedure is".
Who has never experimented
this when going to an administration, to ask for some important document ?
The administration is so slow, that for some documents, you can wait almost 1 year
(if not more).
Rwanda has taken the problem seriously, and has set up
Online Passport Tracking, according to this article. This measure is aimed to reduce the government
expenses by 45,000$ per year.
It will also greatly speed up the time
needed to deliver proper passport to rwandian people over the wolrd.
Those kind of measures are to encourage, because, by reducing the delivering time,
officials may boost some activities. It will be great if procedures to launch a
business are put online. It can better general business in Rwanda.
